DESCRIPTION
Antique double sided Temperance ribbon made for St Pauls Lyceum in Worcester, Massachusetts for the Catholic Total Abstinence Union of America. Dating to the late 19th century this is a great collectable ribbon from the last century relating to alcohol abstinence. Apparently the double sided ribbons meant that they could be worn on the black side at a funeral or when in mourning and then the other side or other occasions.
