Ancient Thadobati Kopre singing bowls are apple-shaped and believed to be over 100 years old. Their base and height are slightly curved giving it the shape of an apple.
These antique singing bowls are very light in comparison to other antique singing bowls.
Depending on the model, these bowls can emit a high or low tone. The Thado Kopre bowl is primarily used for healing sound therapy.
However, it is also popular because the sounds made are long lasting.
The Kopre thado bowl is available in seven different chakra tones.
Generally is composed of seven different metals.
Most travelers such as monks choose this bowl because of its light weight.

Singing bowls can be made to ring by striking or rubbing them.
The easiest way is to strike the bowl like a gong. For this you can use a mallet covered with felt. This method makes it possible to muffle the noise of the impact and to obtain a very pure sound.
The other way is to rub the outer edge of the bowl with a hardwood stick.
The bowl is placed on the palm or on the fingertips of the left hand. The stick is firmly held in the right hand. The circular movement on the edge of the bowl must be regular and relatively slow, the pressure of the stick sustained.
With a little practice, a singsong sound, rich in harmonics will rise, transmitting its waves to the whole body through the intermediary of the left hand.
If the friction is stopped, the sound will gradually disappear, but the vibration will persist for a few more minutes.
