    DETAILS OF ITEM
    This is a vintage cast iron statue of the Great Buddha of Kamakura also known as Kamakura Daibutsu located in Kamakura city, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. Originally built in the 13th century out of cast bronze, the statue has withstood countless storms and a tsunami.
    The condition is very good and it measures 2.6 inches high.  It is a solid iron cast that weighs 12 ounces before packaging.  The weight also makes this a great paperweight.
