    Description

    This is a very interesting 7/8 inch celluloid sepia photo surrounded by a brass eagle relief dangling from a ribbon that is quite battered but definately says BOSTON and either 1911 or 1919. There is no pin on the back. Colleagues think this may be a German fraternal or mutual aid society item from an annual meeting since that year the Sons of Hermann was being held in Boston. It may have been part of a larger Whitehead and Hoag ribbon and this was the part dangling from the front. Displays quite nicely even without the ribbon.
