・This is a cast statue of Daruma（達磨）.
・Daruma is holding a Dharma tool used by monks to show their dignity during a Buddhist memorial service.
・The color of Daruma is red. Red has long been believed to be the color that ward off evil spirits, and it is the color with 　the longest history among Daruma dolls.
・As a good-luck charm to prevent illness and misfortune, it is also associated with the meanings of "family safety" and "no illness or misfortune.
・
It is believed to have been produced in the 1960s-1970s.
