    D. Hayes Murphy was in his 80's at the time he wrote this speech- having a successful business career and founder of The Wiremold Company in West Hartford, Ct. At the time he was Chairman of the Board.
    Established around the time of Communist Russia, The Newcomen Society in North America championed American capitalism, material civilization and entrepreneurship.
