This archive is of historical and genealogical value to lineage society members. To my knowledge it is a one of a kind item. Researches of the War of 1812, Genealogical Societies, Libraries, Family Search, LDS members, may find this of interest.
The exterior of the bound book has some foxing. The binding is tight and the pages of the bound book are in very good condition. Some of the additional hand written loose papers have some chipping to page edges.
A quick mention of some counties named here are Shelby, Richland, Portsmouth, Scioto, Ross, Summit, as well as bordering states where some soldiers came from Indiana, New York, Kentucky, Tennesee, Rhode Island, New Hampshire .
Thousands of names listed of Soldiers and Officers.
