Asian Oriental Hand Painted Carved Wood Kwan Yin Elephant Model Statue
This is a LARGE carving with beautiful chippy paint and wonderful colors with so much detail. Kwan Yin is the figure of compassion and the white elephant represents purity and good fortune. I believe the wood is probably teak.
This stunning statue was purchased from a very high end decorator in the Dallas Design District.
Wood carved and hand painted.
It is a large very beautiful primitive looking statue. It could be very old but I am not an expert in this field.
