    Description

This is a Buddhist Vajrasattva Bronze Statue.
Vajrasattva is the Buddha of purification, a representation of the transformative Diamond Essence.
Stylistically it has a Chinese influence, and is likely from Tibet.
This is the traditional depiction of Vajrasattva.
The Buddha is seated in full lotus posture with a left leaning lilt.
His right hand, palm upward against the chest, is holding the vajra representing the way of the masculine, in his left a ghanha (bell) representing the feminine wisdom.
    The statue is 7 3/4" tall, 4 3/4" across, and 2 1/2" deep.
It is in very good aged condition.
The stand shown in some of the pictures is for display purposes and is not included in the listing.
The piece must ship to a physical street address, not to a P.O. Box.
